Who I Am
I’m a story detective.
As a writer, producer, creative director, and story coach, I specialize in helping people and brands illuminate relatable narratives that unlock growth.
I grew a grassroots stage show, Mortified, into a global media brand known for podcasts, TV projects, books, radio, games, and live events performed in six languages. I have experience in live events, documentaries, talk shows, true crime, comedy, and even educational/children’s shows.
Over the years, my projects have:
screened at the Sundance Film Festival
appeared on This American Life and Snap Judgment
sold to major media companies (PRX, Netflix, Hulu, Comedy Central, ABC, AMC Networks, HBO, Lionsgate, MTV, Warner Bros. TV, Simon & Schuster, Penguin Random House)
been hailed “a cultural phenomenon” by Newsweek and “one of the best shows of the decade” by Salon
received coverage from Time, Wired, All Things Considered, The Today Show, Esquire, Pitchfork, CNN, Fast Company, ELLE, Paste, LA Weekly, AV Club, and The Guardian
earned two StreamyAward nominations
Beyond producing, I've also developed and taught storytelling workshops for clients including Deloitte, Eventbrite, NYC’s Center for Data Intelligence, Pandora, and The Cooper Union.
TED Talk in France
Invited to speak at INSEAD, one of Europe’s most elite business schools, I led a conversation about storytelling.
Fun Fact
In a past life, I produced and hosted two seasons of a celebrity interview series, The Mortified Sessions, that I created for Sundance TV, interviewing Oscar winners, Grammy winners, Emmy winners, critics’ darlings, and entrepreneurs.
